Marcel Vogel originally from Paderborn/Germany started DJing around 1996.
After being a huge Hip Hop Collector he got into Disco, Deep & Vocal House of the Cajual era. A big influence were soulful craftsman like Terrence Parker, DJ Traxx and the infamous Aufschwung Ost Club in Kassel. After moving to Frankfurt in 2000 he had the chance to witness acts and DJ..s like Romanthony, Theo Parrish, KDJ and Darshan Jesrani who influenced him to get all the way into soulful disco.
2003 saw him leaving for Berlin where Marcel set up his own parties most often under the name of LEGACY, callitlove, Black Out and One Soul, mostly focused on having soulful disco centered nights in Berlin.. The parties lasted for around four years and combined the music with a colourful decoration often presented by street artists during the parties.
Since 2007 Marcel Vogel is living in Basel/Switzerland and is currently
planing various events, working on his own productions and edits and is playing in various clubs like „Zukunft“ in Zürich or special events like the unofficial afterparty of „Art“ Basel together with Maurice Fulton and Henrik Schwartz live.

This mix was inspired by Stockholms finest Mark Seven, his sets, his online record store and a diggin‘ tour through Switzerland together.
