ABOUT BEPPE GIOIA
Beppe Gioia was born in Brindisi(Puglia,south Italy) on december 9, and discovered a strong passion for music at the age of 10 when he started taking piano lessons which he continued until he was 18.
His first encounter with decks (the "consolle") dates back to when he was 16 and first started playing vinyls at college and private parties. Following a long break from music, excluding a brief but important dalliance in R&B during the 90s, he discovered a strong passion for House music and in particular Deep and Soulful following a trip to Miami.
Recently he plays also deep/teck and electronic music. He now lives between Milan,Brindisi(Puglia) and Miami where he was resident dj @ Delano hotel, he plays @ Segafredo cafe, and guest dj @ Mynt, Mokai, Standard hotel,Nikki beach and other venues.
Clubs:Milan: 'Chandelier Motel' nights, Shocking, Old Fashion, Luminal, Just Cavalli Cafè,
Events Milan: Armani - Mercedes Benz party, Siemens, Nokia, Google Italia, (Fashion TV) party.Lecce(Puglia) Living club,Tusce' lounge,Kudeta'.
Miami WMC 2005,2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 alongside prominent artists such as Karizma, Ralf Gum, Harley & Muscle,Ron Carroll,Tony Hunphries,Terry Hunter,Spinna etc.
Miami Clubs: Mynt Lounge,Delano hotel,Segafredo cafe,Kary & Y, Nikki beach.
Chicago clubs: Zentra,Vida lounge. (Crucial was in 2004, the encounter with the Garage Family.
In July 2005, he made his first compilation record, 'Riccardo Caffè', which is a trendy club in Ostuni (Puglia). In 2006 met in Miami's WMC Mike Brown from Unified records(Chicago) who gave him opportunity to work in Chicago. He produced 4 Unified records and more labels. Actually is guest weekly on radio shows such as ssradiouk.com , Pushfm.com and Cyberjamz.com
