ABOUT DEJA VU
DJing since the age of 14, Deja Vu exudes a maturity beyond his years when he puts his headphones on. His style is pure New York house and garage - if you drew a line of evolution that began with Masters At Work and passed through Kerri Chandler and Dennis Ferrer, the next mutation has to be Deja Vu.
Starting his career with the broken beats of D'n'B and jungle (which Deja still has an ongoing love affair with), as he's matured, he's fallen more in love with the four to the floor of the house sound. He creates soundscapes that take you on a deep, thoughtful and intelligent house journey, as the denizens of Brighton will testify, where he has flexed his musical muscles over the last few years. Such is his class, he has been a guest DJ at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel for the last three years, playing at parties for Cream, Judgement Sundays, Hed Kandi and more as well as clubs Es Paradis and Space on the White Isle that is Ibiza.
His mixes have won awards, and he has had regular Saturday night shows on internet radio stations cunningly entitled "This Is House" as well as guesting on stations such as RINSE FM.
