This just shows that house music can be enjoyed by all, no matter what age, lol. :))

Momma Carrie (of Dallas, Texas) is the 80+ year old Mom of Tom E Morgan (some may know him from Myspace). He has told me so many amazing and unbelieveable stories about his Mom that I jumped at the opportunity to speak with her on the phone and find out if these stories were true, lol...

I can't remember if she admitted to them or not but I was very impressed by our conversation.
A very outspoken and strong woman...with a very warm heart.

Her birthday passed recently and I wanted to do something special for her. Why not give her a personalized house cd? So I asked Tom E if he thought that was a good idea. He said "Heck yeah", she would love it since she likes to "drum" along with music that she likes..So, I took a deep breath and came up with a mix that I thought she might like.

But in my excitement, I forgot to make a copy of it before I added the voice messages so it is truly an original....Anyway, she loved it, - and especially the song where" the man was beating the hell out of those drums" (her words), lol...and told her other son that he needed to learn to play his drums like that for their church services...

As I write, the cd has been burned over and over and has been passed among the friends and family members of the Morgan family so that they can have an introduction to gospel house and share Momma Carrie's exclusive gospel house cd..

I guess you're never too old to appreciate house music. Happy Birthday Momma Carrie!!:)
